From the streets of the UK to the red dirt of Western Australia in the new series ‘West Coast Cops’

WA police recruitment has successfully enticed UK cops to Perth, and now a new series on Channel 9 and 9Now will follow these police as they adapt to the Aussie way of life.

Sergeant Ben Woods discusses with 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl why he decided to take part in the series.

“It tells a story; this isn’t just about lights and sirens and catching criminals, which a lot of police programmes are about, this is about the life behind the uniform, this is about the people,” he said.
