From extreme heat to deadly bushfires to life threatening breakdowns in the back of beyond, Outback Truckers captures the real-life dramas of truckers as they race deadlines and the elements to deliver on time.

Outback legend, Steve Grahame, a trucker for 46 years, shares his time tested outback wisdom as he battles the searing heat of the desert and truck bashing corrugations to deliver loads to remote destinations. Married couple Anthony and Danyelle Haigh return with baby Theo and six year old Heath on board. Spending 9 months of the year on the road, the couple’s marriage is tested as they search for precious water for those who need it most, drought ravaged farmers.

There is emotion, heartache, joy and triumph as the truckers confront croc infested rivers, corrugated dirt tracks and mechanical challenges delivering cargo to places triple road trains were never designed to travel.
